It was my first year, day, and hour I ever
hunted. I didn't think that I would even see anything the first day. I used a
ladder stand with barely any cover. When I shot, I hit high.
Because of that, it took an hour and a half to track it down. My arrow also broke in
half. It weighed 111 pounds.

It was my second year of hunting. I hadn't got a chance to shoot a deer
during archery season, so I took a chance at it during rifle season. I used a
permanent stand. I don't remember how much it weighed exactly, but it wasn't very
much.

I shot it in an open field on the ground using a 30.06 rifle.
It was about 80 yards away when I shot at it. This happened during the evening
around 8:00. The doe was medium size.
